Using their existing logo, we needed to help Social & Co clearly communicate who they are, and help turn their audience's ear towards a compelling story that shares the the heart and the vision — a consultancy who work nimbly and collaboratively with clients and others in their collective to put brilliant ideas on the map, weaving together a greater story that pulls on what makes Whanganui a remarkable place to be.
As we began designing the Social and Co brand, we didn’t want to just design another identity that looked cool, but said nothing. We worked to truly understand who they are, where they’ve come from, and where they’re going - without the jargon, the overpromising and the stuffy corporate chat. Working closely with Heather, we distilled Social & Co's story right down to two words that captured the heart 'Connecting People'. We then rolled out an identity that visualised that promise. Bringing in a bold brand system, establishing a brand language and bringing it to life through motion, we've put a face to the excellent work that Social and Co are known for. Motion design by moor.
