eHaus Carbon Piggy

Simplifying the ever complex world of carbon emissions and helping consumers to see just what it means.

eHaus' are saving the world, by building homes that consume a significant less amount of carbon than a standard one. But in a climate saturated with green-washing, how do you get the message across of just how much good you are actually doing? Such out-of-the-box thinking required a visual story that not only grabbed attention, but also made something quite technical easy to understand.

We partnered with eHaus to, firstly understand the confusing world of carbon, and then help them tell their story of how every home they build is tucking away savings for a better environment. Pulling on the narrative of currency that we all know, we created the eHaus carbon piggy – redefining the classic kiwi piggy bank as we know it. A carbon 'coin' is awarded to every completed eHaus, which displays the live amount of carbon saved from each home individually. eHaus also has a master coin, totalling the amount of carbon saved from every eHaus in the country and providing a transparency to consumers on just how much of an impact they really make to reducing our carbon emissions.
